The PI71P interface relay is a ready-to-use 3-in-1 solution, containing the RMP7 relay with a GZP71 push-in socket and the Y92G signaling and surge protection module. Together, they form a complete interface system ready for DIN rail mounting, ideal for industrial applications and automation.

Kit construction and components

The central element is the RMP7 relay equipped with a single changeover contact (1 CO) made of silver-nickel (AgNi). The AgNi contact material ensures excellent electrical conductivity and wear resistance, resulting in a long device lifespan. The relay coil is powered by 24V AC voltage, compatible with both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies.

The GZP71 push-in socket enables fast and secure mounting without the use of tools. Push-in technology allows single-core or stranded wires to be inserted directly into the hole, where they are automatically secured by a pressure spring. Additionally, the socket is equipped with detachable terminals, facilitating service and relay replacement.

The Y92G module serves a dual function - signaling and surge protection. The signaling LED changes color depending on the type of power supply (red for AC, green for DC), allowing for quick identification of the operating state.

Operating parameters, functionality and mounting

The relay features robust load parameters: 12A/250V AC for AC1 load and 12A/30V DC for DC1 load. The monostable switching mode means that the relay returns to its rest position once the control voltage is removed.

The device has an IP20 protection rating, protecting against finger contact and access to hazardous parts. The compact design with dimensions of 99,8 × 16,1 × 61,4 mm allows for space savings in electrical control panels.

The relay is equipped with a mechanical operating indicator, which visually shows the current state of the contacts. This practical solution facilitates diagnostics and monitoring of the system operation without the need for additional measuring instruments.

The contact locking function in the test button allows for permanent circuit closure during service or testing work. Once the lock is released, the relay automatically returns to normal control mode.
