Comprehensive interface solution for industrial automation

The PI71P interface relay is a complete system consisting of an RMP7 electromagnetic relay with a single changeover contact made of silver-nickel alloy (AgNi), a GZ71 plug-in socket with screw terminals, and a Y42G signaling and surge protection module. Together, they form a ready-to-mount solution for industrial applications requiring reliable control and circuit protection.

Electrical parameters and switching capabilities

The system provides high contact load capacity of 12A at 250V AC and 12A at 30V DC, allowing for the safe control of high-power loads. The maximum switching power in the AC1 category is 3000 VA, and the minimum switching current is only 10 mA, enabling the handling of very sensitive electronic circuits. Contact resistance does not exceed 100 mΩ, guaranteeing low energy losses and stable operation over a long service life.

System design and functionality

The Y42G signaling module is equipped with a green LED for the DC version and a red LED for the AC version, allowing for immediate identification of the device's operating status. A built-in suppression diode protects the circuit from surges generated during the switching of inductive coils. A mechanical operation indicator and a test button located on the front of the device allow for easy diagnostics and contact status control without the need for disassembly.

Mounting and environmental parameters

The set is adapted for mounting on a standard 35 mm DIN rail according to the PN-EN 60715 standard or directly onto a plate using a single M3 screw. The maximum cross-section for stranded wires is 2 x 2,5 mm² (2 x 14 AWG) with a stripping length of 6,5 mm. The terminal tightening torque should not exceed 0,7 Nm. The device operates in temperatures from -40°C to +55°C at a relative humidity of 5...85% non-condensing.
