Complete interface kit for professional applications

This interface relay is a complete push-in system for direct mounting on a DIN rail or mounting plate. The kit includes an RMP7 electromagnetic relay with a 2P contact configuration and AgNi contact material, a gray GZP72 plug-in socket, and a Y93G type signaling/surge protection module.

System design and components

The RMP7 relay is the heart of the system and features a double contact arrangement (2P) made of silver-nickel alloy (AgNi). The AgNi contact material ensures high wear resistance and stable operation at current loads up to 8 A continuous rating. The system is powered by 110 V AC voltage and operates in the 50/60 Hz frequency range.

The GZP72 plug-in socket enables quick mounting and removal of the relay without the need for tools. Electrical connections are made via spring terminals supporting wires with a maximum cross-section of 2 × 1,5 mm² (without insulated ferrules) or 2 × 1 mm² (with insulated ferrules). The wire stripping length should be 8-10 mm.

Functionality and status signaling

The system is equipped with multi-functional LED signaling - red for alternating current (AC) and green for direct current (DC), allowing for immediate identification of the power type. A mechanical indicator allows for monitoring the relay's operating state even when power is absent.

The front test button serves a dual function: it enables manual testing of the circuit operation and locks the contacts in the test position. This functionality is particularly useful during maintenance and diagnostic work.

Operating conditions and system specification

The system operates within a voltage range of 0.8 to 1.1 U relative to the rated voltage. The drop-out voltage for AC power is ≥ 0.3 U, ensuring stable switching under various loads. The minimum contact voltage is 12 V, and the minimum switching power is 1 W.

The dimensions of the entire kit are 80.4 × 15.7 × 66.1 mm with a weight of 59.7 g. The enclosure protection rating is IP20. The system is designed for mounting on a 35 mm wide DIN rail according to the PN-EN 60715 standard or directly onto a mounting plate using a single M3 screw.

The Y93G surge protection module protects the circuit against network surges and provides additional stability to the system's operation.
