Complete interface kit for professional electrical installations

The PI72P interface relay is a ready-to-use push-in solution for demanding industrial applications and automation. The kit includes the RMP7 electromagnetic relay with two pairs of silver-nickel (AgNi) alloy contacts, the GZP72 plug-in socket, and the Y43G signaling and surge protection module. The entire unit is designed for direct mounting on a standard 35 mm DIN rail in accordance with the PN-EN 60715 standard.

Construction and electrical parameters

The device operates at a control voltage of 110 V DC and withstands loads up to 8 A at voltages up to 250 V AC and 8 A at voltages up to 30 V DC. The 2P (two pairs of contacts) configuration enables the simultaneous switching of two independent circuits. The AgNi contact material ensures excellent electrical conductivity and resistance to wear during frequent switching operations.

The compact design with dimensions of 16.1 × 61.4 × 99.8 mm and a weight of only 65 grams allows for high-density packing in distribution boards. The IP20 protection rating protects against accidental contact with live parts. The maximum wire cross-section is 2 × 1.5 mm² (without ferrules) or 2 × 1 mm² (with insulated ferrules), with a stripping length of 8...10 mm.

Functionality and operational safety

Standard equipment includes a signaling LED: red for AC circuits and green for DC circuits, allowing for immediate identification of the power type. A mechanical operating indicator allows for visual monitoring of the relay's operating status even when the LED is not powered.

A particularly practical solution is the front test button with a contact locking function. It allows for manual forcing of the ON state for testing purposes and permanent locking of the contacts in the closed position during maintenance work. The Y43G surge protection module protects the control electronics from harmful surges and impulse disturbances.

Mounting and system compatibility

The PI72P-GZP72-Y43G kit is a complete plug-and-play solution - it requires no additional mounting elements or wiring. The push-in socket enables quick wire connection without tools by inserting the conductor into the spring terminal. Alternatively, mounting on a plate is possible using a single M3 screw.

The device meets the requirements of the ETIM class EC001437, guaranteeing compatibility with automation systems from various manufacturers. The operating supply voltage range is 0.8...1.1 Uₙ, ensuring stable operation under power grid fluctuation conditions. The minimum switching power is 1 W, and the minimum voltage between contacts is 12 V, making the device suitable for both high-voltage and low-voltage applications.
