Introducing the PI72P interface relay - a ready-to-use push-in kit for professional coupling of control and power circuits in industrial automation installations. This complete solution includes the RMP7 relay with the GZP72 socket and the Y93G signaling and surge protection module.

Module design and system components

The kit is based on the RMP7 relay equipped with two changeover contacts (2P) made of AgNi (silver-nickel) alloy, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity and wear resistance during frequent switching. The GZP72 push-in socket enables rapid tool-free installation - wires are inserted directly into the spring terminals.

The Y93G signaling and surge protection module protects electronics from network surges and provides clear diagnostic of the operating status. A dual-color signaling LED (red for AC, green for DC) immediately informs about the type of relay coil power supply.

Electrical parameters and operating conditions

The relay operates at a rated control voltage of 230V AC for both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies. The drive is polarized, and the switching mode is monostable - the contacts return to their original position once the control signal is lost.

The compact design with dimensions of 61.4 × 99.8 × 16.1 mm fits into standard DIN rail switchgear. The IP20 protection rating protects against finger contact and small solid objects with a diameter greater than 12mm.

Diagnostic and service functionality

A mechanical operation indicator allows for immediate status control of the contacts without the need to disassemble the module. The front test button with contact locking function allows for manual verification of the system's correct operation and temporary immobilization of the contacts during service work.

The spring terminals are detachable, facilitating relay replacement without the need to disconnect the entire installation - which is particularly important in applications critical to the continuity of production processes.
