The PI72P push-in interface kit is a complete solution for industrial automation applications and control systems. The combination of the RMP7 relay with the GZP72 socket and the Y92G signaling module creates a functional unit ready for immediate DIN rail mounting.

Construction and kit components

The central element is the RMP7 relay equipped with two changeover contacts (2P) made of a silver and nickel (AgNi) alloy, which ensure excellent electrical conductivity and wear resistance during frequent switching operations. The 24 V AC coil voltage allows for direct power supply from standard industrial networks.

The GZP72 push-in socket enables fast tool-free mounting - wires are inserted directly into the spring terminals, significantly reducing installation time. The Y92G signaling module serves a dual role: it provides optical signaling of the operating status and protects the circuit against harmful voltage surges.

Functionality and operation

The device is equipped with a signaling LED - red indicates operation at AC voltage, while green informs about the DC status. A mechanical operation indicator allows for quick verification of the current contact state without the need for electrical measurements.

The front test button enables manual verification of the circuit's correct operation and includes a contact locking function, which prevents accidental switching during service or maintenance work.

Operating parameters and safety

The kit operates in monostable mode with a polarized drive, guaranteeing a stable contact position in the rest state. The IP20 protection rating ensures safe use in switchboards and control cabinets.

The compact design with dimensions of 16,1 × 61,4 × 99,8 mm and a weight of 0,6 kg allows for dense packing in installations with limited space. Spring terminals allow for multiple connections without degradation of the electrical connection quality.
