ROMAX Compact III Bare Tool, CAS 1000004265
Presses fittings in 3 seconds – no need to wait for the cycle
Clamping is performed in exactly 3 seconds thanks to an efficient hydraulic design and Constant Force Technology (CFT), which provides a constant force throughout the cycle – there is no loss of power at the final clamp. It is not only speed but also repeatability: each fitting is clamped with the same precision, without the risk of under‑tightening or over‑crushing.
Works in tight places – lightweight, balanced, compact
A weight of 2.5 kg distributed over a length of 34 cm means the tool does not fatigue the hand even during long work sessions. The perfectly balanced centre of gravity allows precise maneuvering in confined spaces – under ceilings, behind walls, in narrow corridors. No need to strain to keep it steady – the tool holds itself.
Presses fittings up to Ø 35 mm (metal) and Ø 40 mm (plastic) – no system limits
It works with most standard fitting systems: copper, stainless steel, as well as multilayer and PE-RT pipes. The operating range from 12 mm to 40 mm covers the majority of diameters used in heating and sanitary installations. A force of 19 kN is sufficient for a safe and durable clamp even on the largest fittings in this class.
Collects real‑time data – no additional devices
The tool not only presses – it records every cycle. Pressure, time and temperature data are automatically transmitted to the ROTHENBERGER App via the CAS system. No manual logging or extra reader is required – everything happens on‑site, without interrupting work. It is not only convenient – it provides documentation compliant with inspection requirements.
CAS power – compatible with other ROTHENBERGER tools
It does not contain a battery or charger – it is ready to work with any 18 V Li‑Ion / Li‑Po battery from the CAS system. If you already own other ROTHENBERGER tools (e.g., screwdrivers or saws), you can use the same batteries. The lack of an integrated power source is not a limitation – it is flexibility.
Operates from –10 °C to +60 °C – not only in the workshop
No need to wait for a warm day to start installation. The tool operates reliably even at low temperatures on construction sites or in cold rooms. The operating temperature has been verified for the full range of pressing cycles – there is no risk of failure or performance loss under extreme conditions.
