Purpose and functionality

The 1-pole button from the Sedna Design & Elements series by Schneider Electric is an electrical installation accessory designed to control lighting or other electrical devices. Its versatility allows for use in both home and commercial installations. It can function as a traditional light switch (in combination with a pulse relay), a doorbell button, or to switch on other devices with a maximum current draw of 10 A.

Construction and mounting

Made of durable thermoplastic, the button features an aesthetic, glossy finish in beige (RAL 1013). Compact dimensions (73 x 73 x 37 mm) and a depth of 24 mm facilitate mounting in standard recessed boxes (minimum depth 40 mm). Mounting is done with claws or screws, ensuring stable and secure seating. Screwless terminals significantly simplify and speed up the connection of wires.

Safety and parameters

The button has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. It is halogen-free, which increases safety. The rated voltage is 250 V, and the rated current is 10 A. The device meets safety standards and is UV resistant, guaranteeing color and material durability. It has an impact resistance of IK02.
