The Acti9 A9XPC624 comb busbar is an advanced component of the electrical power distribution system, specifically designed for the Acti9 iC40 series modular devices. The horizontal design enables efficient power supply to groups of single-phase circuit breakers with a neutral conductor.

Operating parameters and safety

The device operates at a rated continuous current Iu = 80A at an ambient temperature of up to 40°C, ensuring stable operation even in demanding operating conditions. A maximum operating voltage Ue = 230V AC and a rated insulation voltage Ui = 400V AC guarantee safe operation in typical single-phase installations.

The system provides an IP20 protection rating thanks to end elements and finger guards, protecting the user from accidental contact with live parts. The rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp = 4kV protects the installation against atmospheric and network surges.

Construction and materials

The busbar is designed as a horizontal comb busbar with a length of 487mm, occupying exactly 24 standard-width modules. The design is based on a two-pole (1L+N) system with a standard pin spacing of 9mm.

The ability to trim to size allows the busbar length to be adapted to a specific application—from a minimal configuration to full utilization of all 24 connection points. Each position enables the connection of a single-pole device with a neutral conductor (1P+N) via a durable pin connection.
