The iC60H-C20-1 circuit breaker is characterized by a C characteristic, which means it allows for short-term exceeding of the rated current without tripping. This is particularly important when starting devices with motors or other inductive loads that generate high inrush currents. This avoids unnecessary tripping of the circuit during normal operation. Additionally, the ability to connect wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² (solid) and from 1 to 16 mm² (stranded) provides flexibility during installation. The circuit breaker design allows for easy mounting on a DIN rail and dismantling without the need for tools – useful both during installation and servicing.

Safety and user comfort

The circuit breaker is equipped with an optical VisiTrip indicator, which informs about the activation of the electrical release – a red color indicates a disturbance. This facilitates quick identification of the problem and shortens repair time. Additionally, the VisiSafe indicator signals whether the contacts have been physically opened, which guarantees safety during maintenance work on the downstream circuit. Energy limitation class 3 provides effective protection against the effects of short circuits. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icu is 15 kA at 230V, and Icn is 10 kA according to EN 60898. The circuit breaker meets the requirements of IEC/EN 60947-2 and IEC/EN 60898-1 standards, which confirms its high quality and reliability. The IP20 protection degree protects against finger contact and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The ambient operating temperature is in the range of -35 to +70°C.
