The iC60N-C10-1N circuit breaker is part of the Acti9 series, designed to protect electrical installations from the effects of overloads and short circuits. It is a single-pole device with a rated current of 10A, ideal for both residential and commercial applications. Its compact size (2 module width) makes it easy to install in distribution boards.

Characteristics and application

This circuit breaker has a C characteristic, meaning it responds to short-circuit currents after they have exceeded the rated current by 5-10 times. This makes it particularly well-suited for circuits with inductive loads, such as fluorescent lighting or motors. The ability to simultaneously disconnect the N pole increases safety. In the event of a failure, both the phase and neutral conductors are disconnected.

Safety and functionality

The design of the iC60N circuit breaker is designed with safety and ease of use in mind. It has a VisiTrip indicator, which informs about the tripping of the circuit breaker caused by overload or short circuit – a red color indicates the need for intervention. Additionally, the VisiSafe indicator signals the physical opening of the contacts (green color), allowing for safe maintenance work on the downstream circuit. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 6kA at 230V according to EN 60898 and 10kA at 230V according to IEC 60947-2, ensuring effective protection of the installation. The energy limitation class is 3.
