Application and functionality

The MT250 drive is designed to operate in networks with a voltage of 380-415V AC (50Hz) and 380-480V AC (60Hz), as well as 440/480VAC at a frequency of 60Hz. It allows remote switching on and off of the circuit breaker, which is particularly useful in automation and remote control systems. Please note that the circuit breaker base is supplied without a trip unit – this must be ordered separately, adapting it to the specific needs of the application.

The design of the MT250 motor drive has been designed with high reliability and durability in mind. The components used provide effective protection against the effects of short circuits, and the high Ics value (short-circuit operating current) equal to 100% Icu (short-circuit capacity) demonstrates its resistance to extreme operating conditions – this is a significant advantage over competing solutions, where the Ics value is often only 50% Icu. This means that the circuit breaker with this drive can withstand the full short-circuit current without damage.
