Residual Current Device (RCD) IDK-25-2-30-A is a reliable safety device for electrical installations, designed for both residential and commercial applications. Functionality and Installation

The RCD is mounted on a DIN rail, which simplifies and speeds up installation. Its compact dimensions – only 2 modules wide – allow for efficient use of space in the distribution board. Double terminals from below (busbar + wire) and ribbed terminal surfaces guarantee secure and stable connections for conductors with a cross-section from 1 to 35 mm² (solid) or 1 to 25 mm² (stranded). The neutral (N) terminal located on the left side facilitates alignment with overcurrent circuit breakers, streamlining the installation process and organization within the distribution board.

Safety and Control

The IDK-25-2-30-A RCD provides protection against the effects of short circuits to earth and overloads. It has a high short-circuit strength of 10 kA, which increases its resistance to damage in the event of a failure. Additionally, it is equipped with a "T" test button, allowing for periodic functional testing – it is recommended to perform tests every six months for the first 7 years of use.
