This single-pole residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection, with a rated current of 16A and a sensitivity of 30mA type A, is a key element ensuring safety in every electrical circuit. Designed by Schneider Electric, model iDPNNVigi-B16-30-A from the Acti9 series effectively protects against the effects of short circuits, overloads and electric shock.

Functionality and diagnostics at the highest level

This circuit breaker features advanced diagnostic functions. The two-pole lever allows unambiguous identification of which element – overcurrent or residual current – caused the tripping. Optical Visi-Trip indicators (white-red) signal electrical tripping, and Visi-Safe (green) confirms the opening of the circuit breaker contacts. Additionally, the ability to perform a functionality test with the "T" button (once a year for the first 7 years of use) allows you to continuously monitor its condition and reliability.

Installation and technical parameters

The circuit breaker is mounted on a DIN rail and occupies a width of 2 modules (36mm). Adapted to work at temperatures from -25°C to 60°C, it meets the requirements of EN 61009-1 standard, offering a rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA. It accepts solid wire cross-sections up to 16mm² and stranded wires up to 10mm². Characteristic B ensures a quick response to overloads and short circuits, while allowing smooth starting of devices with motors that generate short-term inrush currents. The rated insulation voltage is 400V and the impulse withstand voltage is 4kV. Simultaneously disconnectable N pole increases the functionality of the device. Protection degree IP20 provides protection against finger contact and access to live parts.
