The LE1M35Q705 starter unit from the TeSys LE series is a complete direct-on-line (DOL) starter designed for starting and protecting squirrel cage motors. The device is supplied as a ready-to-use module - simply connect the power supply and the motor.

The thermal relay setting range of 0,54-0,8 A and the rated power of 0,25 kW (at 400 V AC) correspond to low-power drives. At a lower voltage of 230 V, the power decreases to 0,12 kW, which must be taken into account when selecting for a specific motor.

Construction and Equipment

The enclosure houses all the necessary control and protection elements:

• LC1K Contactor performs the switching of the main circuit,
• LR2K Thermal Overload Relay protects the motor from the effects of overload - a tripping class 10 is the standard response time to an overload,
• Green Start button "I" and red Stop/Reset button "O/R" allow for manual control,
• Yellow operation indicator signals the active operating state of the device,
• Ground and neutral terminals at the bottom of the enclosure facilitate correct connection.

The enclosure provides an IP65 protection rating, which means full dust tightness and protection against water jets from any direction - making it suitable for industrial installations exposed to moisture and dust.

Operating Parameters and Connection

Overall dimensions are 78 × 160 × 108 mm, and the weight is 0,6 kg. The maximum ambient operating temperature is 40°C. The coil voltage is a constant 380 V AC (50/60 Hz) - before ordering, it is necessary to ensure that the power supply network meets this standard.

Electrical connection is implemented via screw connections, both for the main and auxiliary circuits - robust and easy to service. The LE1M35Q705 starter can operate with type 1 or type 2 coordination (depending on the selected short-circuit protection elements), providing flexibility in power system design.
