TeSys D power contactor – reliable motor control

This TeSys D power contactor is a robust solution for controlling three-phase motors. Designed for operation in demanding industrial and domestic environments, it provides reliable switching of electrical circuits. The rated operating power for AC-3, at 400V, is 37 kW, and the rated current is 80A. This makes it an ideal choice for a variety of applications, from powering machines and equipment to heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.

The contactor is characterized by high mechanical durability – as many as 15 million switching cycles and the ability to perform 3600 cycles per hour. Integrated auxiliary contacts (1NO and 1NC) in a standard mirrored configuration allow for direct use in safety circuits in accordance with IEC standards. They are adapted to signals with a minimum current of 1 mA, which allows them to be connected directly to PLCs. The contactor design has been designed for easy installation – multi-standard screws have been used.

The main contacts are made of silver (90% Ag / 10% Ni for the LC1D09-LC1D18 range and 88% Ag / 12% SnO for LC1D25 and higher), which ensures excellent electrical conductivity and resistance to wear.
