This TeSys D power contactor is a robust solution for controlling three-phase motors. The LC1D80MD contactor is characterized by a rated current of 80A for AC-3 and a power of 37kW at 400V. It provides effective protection of the circuit against overload and short-circuit - like most circuit breakers in this class. Additionally, its construction allows for safe operation with loads with high starting current, thanks to the coil's C characteristic.

Construction and application

The TeSys D contactor is equipped with screw connections, which facilitates installation and connection of wires. It has one normally open auxiliary contact (1NO) and one normally closed contact (1NC), which allow integration with control and safety systems. Integrated auxiliary contacts are adapted to signals with a minimum current of 1 mA, allowing them to be directly connected to PLC controllers. Compact dimensions (85mm wide, 127mm high and 186mm deep) allow for easy installation even in limited spaces.

Mechanical durability of 15 million switching cycles and high switching frequency (3600 cycles/h) guarantee long-lasting and reliable operation of the device.
