Type B-SI provides protection not only against sinusoidal currents (type AC) and pulsating currents (type A), but also against smoothed DC currents, which occur in power supply systems for photovoltaic inverters, battery chargers or frequency converters. This makes it an ideal solution for installations using modern technologies.
