Thermal overload relay – reliable motor protection
This EasyPact TVS thermal overload relay is a key element in protecting electrical installations, especially those powering motors. It provides effective protection against overload and phase imbalance, which translates to a longer lifespan of devices and minimizes the risk of failure. It is designed to work with GV2 L and GV3 L magnetic circuit breakers and fuse combinations, creating a comprehensive protection system.
Functionality and application
The LRE06 relay is designed for direct mounting, simplifying installation and saving time. Its current setting range (1…1.6 A) allows for precise adjustment to the load characteristics, protecting motors with a power of 0.37-0.55 kW at 400 V AC. It has one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) auxiliary contact, enabling integration with control systems and alarm signaling. Therefore, in the event of a relay activation, the operator is immediately informed of the problem.

The relay is characterized by a tripping class of 10A, which means its high selectivity – it reacts only to overloads in the protected circuit, without causing unnecessary tripping in the event of short-term inrush currents. The lack of automatic reset forces manual intervention after activation, which increases operator awareness of the problem and prevents automatic restarts in dangerous situations. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures durability and resistance to environmental conditions. The connection of the main contacts is realized by means of screw connections – a proven and reliable solution.
