The ST1 DN400 H1200 water meter pit is a solution dedicated to both installers and users who need reliable protection of the water meter from weather conditions. The pit's construction is based on the thermos principle – the lack of a bottom and a tight seal maintain a positive temperature inside, utilizing the heat of the earth. Additional internal and external insulation minimizes the risk of freezing.

Installation of the water meter approximately 30 cm below the cover, combined with a thermal plug, protects the connection from freezing even at temperatures as low as -30°C. This is crucial for the continuous operation of the system in harsh climatic conditions.

Universal application and easy installation

The lack of a bottom in the pit allows installation even in areas with a high water table. This eliminates the problem of buoyancy forces, enabling free reading of the meter without the need to drain the pit of water. This significantly facilitates maintenance and water consumption control. The pit is supplied without a water meter and water meter connection, providing flexibility in choosing the appropriate components.
