Reducing valve with internal thread type 7BIS 1/2 inch 149B7209
Pressure reducing valve – reliable pressure regulation
This threaded internal pressure reducing valve, type 7BIS with a size of 1/2 inch, is a solid solution for precise pressure control in water and heating installations. Made of bronze and brass, with an NBR diaphragm, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. It is a key element for protecting connected devices from the effects of excessive pressure.
Design and application
This valve is designed to reduce pressure in installations with a maximum inlet pressure of 16 bar. It allows you to adjust the pressure behind the valve in the range of 1.0 to 5.5 bar, and the factory setting is 3 bar – ready to use immediately after installation. The installation length is 64.5 mm. It has two 1/4 inch connections for connecting a pressure gauge or other control device. The drain plug facilitates maintenance and venting.
The valve works in:
- central heating installations,
- domestic hot water systems,
- industrial applications requiring stable medium pressure.
Advantages for the installer and user
- Durability and reliability: The bronze body and brass sealing unit guarantee a long service life even in difficult working conditions.
- Precise regulation: The adjustment range of 1.0 – 5.5 bar allows you to adapt the pressure to the specific needs of the installation.
- Easy installation: The 1/2 inch internal thread facilitates quick and efficient connection to the existing installation.
- Safety: Protects devices from damage caused by excessive pressure, extending their service life and minimizing the risk of failure.
- High quality materials: The diaphragm and seals made of reinforced NBR ensure tightness and resistance to chemical agents.
- Ready to work: The factory pressure setting of 3 bar eliminates the need for time-consuming configuration after installation.
This valve meets the Pnom 1.6 MPa standard and is designed to operate at a maximum temperature of 80°C. By choosing this valve, you are investing in the stability and safety of your installation.
