Limit switch – a reliable safety and control element

This limit switch with a metal housing and rod lever is a robust solution for precise position detection in various industrial applications. Designed for both safety circuits and standard control circuits, it provides effective protection against overload and short circuit. Its versatility makes it suitable for both new installations and the modernization of existing systems.

Design and operating parameters

The switch is characterized by a durable metal construction, which guarantees resistance to mechanical damage and ensures long-term reliability. The IP65 protection class protects against dust and water, allowing operation in harsh environmental conditions. This makes it ideal for outdoor applications or in damp rooms. It is adapted to work in a wide temperature range from -10°C to 70°C.

The rated operating current is 5A for AC-15 at 24V and 230V, as well as 5A for DC-13 at 24V and 0.4A at 125V. It has two switching contacts (one normally open and one normally closed), allowing for flexible configuration of control circuits. The snap-action contact ensures fast and precise switching, and the presence of two contacts increases the possibilities of application. The switch does not have a self-resetting function or an electronic output. The sensor length is 81.7 mm, the width is 29 mm, and the height is 26.9 mm – compact dimensions make it easy to install even in tight spaces. The electrical connection is made using a PG cable gland.
