Pressure reducer 6243.1 2" 90° 1.5‑5 bar 6243.50.000
Pressure regulator with membrane and filter, intended for domestic water and heating systems
The regulator functions as a single‑port valve with an axial regulating insert that maintains a constant outlet pressure regardless of inlet pressure fluctuations — even at a maximum inlet pressure of 25 bar. Adjustment is mechanical, using a spring and membrane, providing smooth and precise setting without the need for external power.
The body and nut are made of brass resistant to dezincification, and the cover of the adjusting part is made of glass‑fiber‑reinforced plastic — this solution enhances durability under elevated temperature. The seals are made of age‑resistant elastomer, and the membrane is reinforced with fabric — allowing safe operation at temperatures up to 90°C.
The regulating insert contains a built‑in filter screen with a mesh size of 0.25 mm — reducing the risk of contaminating the mechanism and ensuring long‑term stable performance. The insert can be serviced/replaced without removing the whole regulator from the installation.
Construction and installation
The regulator has two M1/4" ports for mounting pressure gauges — they enable direct pressure monitoring on the outlet side. An adjustment indicator facilitates setting the target pressure during regulation. Installation must follow the flow‑direction arrow marked on the body, avoiding stresses from the pipework. The line should be thoroughly flushed before installation.
Permissible mounting position: any — there are no restrictions on device orientation in the system. At a flow velocity of 2 m/s the flow rate is 9.1 m³/h, at 3 m/s — 13.7 m³/h.
Application and operating conditions
Intended for systems where pressure stabilization is required while protecting fittings and end devices. Ideal for domestic hot‑water installations and make‑up nodes of heating systems with treated water — the allowable temperature of 90 °C does not limit it to only cool circuits.
Adjustment range: 1.5–5 bar — typical for water‑supply networks in residential and commercial buildings. Not suitable for gases or sticky fluids. Compliant with standard PN-EN 1567, holds PZH certification.
