Pressure reducer with threaded connections and pressure gauges
Type 6243.1 pressure reducer with 6/4 inches connections is used to maintain a stable outlet pressure in the range of 1.5–5 bar, regardless of flow variations. It is intended for water‑supply installations where preventing over‑pressures and saving material and energy are critical.
The valve body is made of cast brass (gunmetal), providing corrosion resistance and long‑term reliability in humid conditions. Both sides of the valve are equipped with standard threaded connections, simplifying installation in existing systems without the need for additional adapters.
Each side features sockets for connecting G¼" pressure gauges, allowing easy monitoring of inlet and outlet pressure without disassembly. In addition, the valve incorporates a filter that protects the reduction mechanism from contaminants – no separate screen filter installation is required.
Every reducer is equipped with a cartridge system: pressure adjustment, seals and internal components are supplied as a single module. This means that service – whether cleaning, replacement or calibration – can be performed in a few minutes without dismantling the entire device. The pressure setting remains unchanged after reinstalling the cartridge.
With an operating temperature up to 90 °C, the reducer is suitable for both domestic hot‑water (DHW) systems and low‑return‑temperature heating circuits. No additional thermal insulation is needed when installed in heated rooms.
Applications: residential installations, multi‑family buildings, hotels, hospitals – anywhere a constant outlet pressure is required despite variable water consumption.
