Pressure reducer 6243.2, 2" 90°C, 4‑8 bar 6243.50.001
Pressure reducer 6243.2 with outlet 5–8 bar, 2 inch, 90 °C
The reducer is designed to stabilise pressure in district‑heating and heating installations where a constant outlet value in the range of 5–8 bar is required. It operates correctly even with a maximum inlet pressure of 25 bar — allowing its use in networks with variable load without risk of damage.
Operating temperature up to 90 °C makes it compatible with heating systems powered by gas boilers, district‑heating plants or heat pumps, where the water temperature does not exceed this limit. It is not suitable for steam installations or media at higher temperatures — this is the limit that must not be exceeded.
Dimensions and thread: 2 inch (DN50) — a standard size for main distribution lines in multi‑family buildings or commercial facilities. Installation is simple: the external thread allows direct connection to pipes conforming to ISO 228/1. No additional fittings or adapters are required.
There is no manual adjustment — the outlet pressure setting is fixed and factory‑configured to the 5–8 bar range. This means you cannot “re‑set” it to lower values, but you also do not have to worry about installation errors or incorrect settings by the installer.
Compatible with type 6243 construction — i.e., it has a design similar to the 315 series reducers but with an extended operating range. In practice: better resistance to inlet pressure fluctuations and more stable operation over longer service life.
Manufacturer: SYR — a company known for components for heating and district‑heating systems. It has no additional functions (such as a check valve or filter), so it is a pure reducer — without unnecessary components that could become failure points.
Operates without electricity or batteries. This solution is for those who want simplicity and reliability.
