Safety valve 2115 G 3/4 inch 6bar brass 2115.20.150
Safety valve is a key element protecting pressurized systems from exceeding the permissible pressure. Model 2115, made of brass, is particularly recommended for securing closed domestic hot water heaters, but will also work in systems with other liquids not containing adhesive components. Its membrane-based design ensures reliable operation and long service life.
This valve finds wide application in water installations, as well as those using water-glycol mixtures – provided that the glycol content does not exceed 50%. It can operate at temperatures up to 110°C, making it a universal solution for various heating and hot water systems. Thanks to this, both installers and end-users can count on safe and efficient system operation.
Construction and principle of operation
The 2115 safety valve is characterized by a simple but effective design. The membrane reacts to an increase in pressure in the installation, opening the valve and releasing excess medium. This method of operation protects installation components from damage caused by excessive pressure. A 2115N version with a replaceable stainless steel seat is also available, which further increases the durability and reliability of the device. The seat can be replaced using a dedicated service key (cat. no. 4807.00.911).
Installation and compliance with standards
The valve should be mounted vertically, with the inlet from below. It has a CE mark and a UDT 43-C-04/imp type examination, confirming its compliance with applicable safety standards. It is important to select the correct valve size depending on the volume of the tank or the heating power of the exchanger – detailed information can be found in the manufacturer's catalog sheet (available for download). Selection can also be carried out using dedicated computer software.
