Safety valve – reliable installation protection
The 2115 safety valve is a key element protecting pressurized systems filled with liquid against dangerous pressure increases. Its main task is to protect closed domestic hot water heaters, but it will also work in installations with other, non-adhesive liquids with a temperature of up to 110°C. The valve design allows it to be used even in systems with glycol, provided its content does not exceed 50%.
Construction and operating principle
The 2115 safety valve uses a diaphragm to precisely monitor the pressure in the installation. If it is exceeded, the valve automatically opens, reducing the pressure to a safe level. Made of high-quality brass and bronze, with internal elements made of Ms 58 brass, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The diaphragm and seals are made of a material resistant to high temperature and aging. Additionally, the valve design allows for easy cleaning and maintenance – the top cartridge can be unscrewed to clean the valve seat. This solution allows maintaining high device efficiency for a long time.
Installation and parameters
The 2115 safety valve should be mounted vertically, with the inlet facing downwards. It is available in various pressure opening ranges (4, 4.5, 5, 6, 8, 10 bar), allowing it to be selected to suit the specific needs of the installation. This model is characterized by a G ¾ inch connection and complies with PZH standards (has an approval). The selection of the appropriate valve diameter should be made based on the volume of the tank or the heating power of the heater exchanger – detailed information can be found in the manufacturer's catalog sheet.
