The 3200 heating water softener is a SYR 3200 connection set with a tank (cylinder) filled with an ion-exchange resin, softening the water for filling the heating system. Depending on the size of the cylinder (amount of resin), the quality of the supply water and the setting of the device, a certain amount of water can be treated. After a certain amount of water flows (use the indications of the water meter built into the 3200 unit), the conditioning resin should be replaced - order a suitable replacement cartridge. Filling the installation with treated water protects it and fittings against limescale and corrosion, which are the cause of various damages, destruction and malfunction.
