Water heater protection – SYROBLOC 330
This safety group, consisting of a safety valve, check valve and shut-off valve, is designed to protect closed water heaters from overpressure and backflow. SYROBLOC 330 is a comprehensive solution that meets regulatory requirements and ensures reliable operation in water heating systems.
Design and application
The SYROBLOC 330 DN20 safety group is characterized by a well-thought-out design that combines three key functions: overpressure protection, backflow prevention and the ability to cut off the water supply. The safety valve with a stainless steel seat guarantees durability and corrosion resistance. The safety valve can be rotated 360 degrees to facilitate adaptation to the installation and direct the outlet in the desired direction. Installation is simple thanks to the use of 22mm compression fittings or additional 3/4 inch fittings (adapters).
The use of the SYROBLOC 330 group is particularly important in closed water heaters, where the lack of adequate protection can lead to serious failures and hazards for users. Meeting the requirements of noise class 1 (according to DIN 4109), this group ensures comfortable use without unwanted noise. The compact design facilitates quick and rational installation, saving installers time.
Advantages and product features
- Comprehensive protection: Combining a safety valve, check valve and shut-off valve in one group eliminates the need for separate components.
- Versatile mounting: The ability to rotate the safety valve 360 degrees and the option of mounting in a vertical or horizontal position increase installation flexibility.
- Durability and reliability: The safety valve seat made of stainless steel ensures long-lasting, trouble-free operation.
- Easy maintenance: The safety valve can be easily cleaned without the need for disassembly or pressure adjustment.
- Compliance with standards: The group meets regulatory requirements for water heater protection, ensuring safe use.
- Quick installation: The compact design of the group significantly speeds up the installation process.
- Various pressure settings available: Available safety valve settings: 4, 6, 8, 10 bar allow adaptation to specific installation operating conditions.
- Maximum operating temperature: Up to 95°C – allows use in most standard water heating systems.
- Flow rate: Provides a flow rate of 5.7 m³/h at ∆p 1.0 bar, which guarantees adequate system performance.
Remember to check the safety valve regularly (at least every 6 months) by manually opening it – turn the blue knob in the direction of the arrow until you hear a characteristic click. This simple operation allows you to ensure its correct operation and provide continuous protection for the water heater.
