The single-core YKXS 0.6/1 kV power cable with a cross-section of 70 mm² is a robust solution for transmitting electrical energy under demanding conditions. Construction and Applications

YKXS cables are designed for use indoors, outdoors, in cable ducts, and directly buried in the ground. The use of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) as conductor insulation delivers superior electrical properties, reduced weight, and smaller dimensions compared to traditional PVC-insulated cables. Conductors are made of soft copper strands and are available in various classes (RE, RM, SM) in accordance with PN-EN 60228. The insulated stranded conductors are arranged in a central core, surrounded by a durable outer sheath of fire-resistant PVC in black color.

Additionally, special variants of YKXS cables are available:

• YKXSżo: Designed for use in areas exposed to contact with petroleum-based materials (e.g., fuel stations). Features a special oil-resistant sheath compliant with PN-EN 60811-2-1.
• XnKXSżo: Halogen-free cables offering enhanced fire safety – they do not propagate flame, emit minimal smoke, and release non-corrosive gases.
• Armored: Cables reinforced with round steel wires or a steel tape, ideal for locations with increased risk of mechanical damage.
