The H05V-K (LGY) installation wire is a universal solution for transmitting electrical energy, ideal for both professional installers and demanding users. Made of class 5 copper wire, it provides flexibility and durability of connections. This wire is designed for permanent installation in conduits on plaster and under plaster, as well as in cable ducts. It will work everywhere where frequent bending is required, and connections are exposed to vibrations.

Construction and properties

The H05V-K wire is characterized by a single core with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). A durable outer PVC coating provides additional protection against mechanical damage and external factors. Thanks to this, you can be sure of its long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The outer diameter of the wire is 2.3 mm, and its conductor resistance at 20°C is 26 Ohm/km. The wire is resistant to low temperatures, which is confirmed by compliance with EN 60811-504+505+506.

Safety and compliance with standards

Safety is key in any electrical installation. The H05V-K wire has a fire resistance certificate in accordance with IEC 60332-1-2, which means it limits the spread of fire in the event of a fire. The reaction to fire class according to EN 13501-6 is Eca. In addition, the wire meets the requirements of HD 308 S2 regarding core identification. It should be remembered that the wire does not contain halogens (according to IEC 60754-1 and IEC 60754-2 and IEC 60754-3), which increases safety and minimizes the emission of toxic substances in the event of a fire. The permissible ambient temperature during installation is from -15°C to +50°C, and after installation from -40°C to +50°C, and the maximum conductor temperature is 70°C.
