Installation cable – reliability and safety in your installation

The H07V-U (DY) cable is a universal solution for electrical installations in buildings. Made of copper with PVC insulation, it provides safe and efficient power transmission. Available in brown color, on spools of 100 meters in length, it is ideal for both new installations and renovations.

Construction and application

This cable is designed for permanent installation in conduits, surface-mounted conduits and cable ducts. Its construction – a single core with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² – allows for easy installation and connection to various electrical devices. Thanks to the rated voltage of 750 V (450 V U0) it is suitable for a wide range of applications in residential and commercial construction. Resistance to low temperatures (according to EN 60811-504+505+506) makes it a good choice even in harsh weather conditions.

Additional information: the cable weight is 31.158 kg/km and the core resistance at 20°C is 7.41 Ohm/km. Maximum operating temperature of the core is 70°C and the permissible ambient temperature during installation is -15…50°C.
