Polyester braids – reliable cable protection

TOZ-PE19 polyester braids are flexible and durable covers designed to protect electrical wires, cables and wire harnesses in various applications. Made of high-quality plastic, they provide effective protection against mechanical damage, moisture and external factors. Their versatility makes them suitable for use in both industrial installations and electronic devices and in the automotive industry.

Properties and application

TOZ-PE19 braids are characterized by a wide range of diameters (14-30 mm) and are available in black. The nominal braid diameter is 19 mm, allowing it to be adapted to most standard cables. The material from which they are made provides temperature resistance in the range of -50°C to +150°C, which guarantees reliable operation even in difficult environmental conditions. Additionally, the high melting temperature (250°C) increases safety of use. An elongation ratio of 2-3:1 makes installation easier and ensures a secure fit to the protected element.

Construction and parameters

TOZ-PE19 braids have flame retardancy in accordance with UL94 V1 standard, which means limited flammability of the material. They are supplied in a raw state (without additional coatings), allowing for possible further modifications or painting. It should be remembered that the product does not have a UR certificate or approval according to DIN 5510 and is not halogen-free or has an NF F 16-101 certificate. Thanks to their construction and material properties, they constitute a solid protective barrier for wires and cables, ensuring their long-term and safe operation.
