Polyester braids – reliable cable protection

TOZ-PE3 polyester braids are flexible and durable covers designed to protect electrical wires and cable harnesses. Made of high-quality plastic, they provide effective protection against mechanical damage, moisture and weathering. Their versatility makes them suitable for use in industrial installations, electronic devices and in automotive applications.

Properties and application

TOZ-PE3 braids are characterized by a wide range of operating temperatures, from -50°C to +150°C, allowing their use in demanding environmental conditions. The braid material is abrasion and tear resistant, and its flexibility makes installation easy even in hard-to-reach places. Thanks to the elongation ratio of 2-3:1, the braid adapts to different wire diameters, providing a secure and stable cover. A melting point of 250°C guarantees safe use at elevated temperatures.

• Wide range of diameters: Available for wires with a diameter of 1 mm to 6 mm (nominal diameter 3 mm).
• Thermal resistance: Operation in a temperature range from -50°C to +150°C.

Construction and assembly

TOZ-PE3 braids are easy to apply – simply place them over the wire or cable harness and secure them with cable ties or other fastening methods. Their black color provides a discreet look to the installation. The polyester material is chemically stable and does not react with most chemicals, increasing the durability and reliability of the protection. It should be noted that the product does not have UR or NF F 16-101 certificates or DIN 5510 approval, which should be taken into account when choosing for specific applications requiring such certifications.
