This PLC controller from Unitronics combines the functionality of a programmable controller with an intuitive operator panel equipped with a 3.5-inch color touchscreen. It is an ideal solution for a wide range of industrial applications where both control logic and process visualization are required. The device is characterized by its compact design and ease of integration with existing systems.

Flexibility and versatility of inputs/outputs

The V350-35-TR6 model offers versatile possibilities for connecting sensors and actuators. It has 6 digital inputs to handle binary signals, 2 digital-to-analog inputs (0-10 Vdc) allowing reading of analog values, and 4 analog inputs (0/4-20 mA) for measuring currents or voltages. To control devices, there are 6 relay outputs that can switch higher-power loads, and 2 transistor outputs for fast control of elements requiring fast switching. This configuration allows building complex control systems without the need for additional expansion modules in many applications.

Functionality and programming capabilities

The Unitronics Vision350 controller offers advanced programming functions in ladder logic, which facilitates the implementation of control logic. It has 1MB of program memory, allowing the creation of even complex applications. The built-in real-time clock and the ability to maintain memory with a battery (up to 7 years) ensure reliable system operation. Additionally, the device supports communication protocols such as Modbus master/slave and has RS232/485 ports, and optionally also Ethernet and CANbus, which enables integration with other devices and SCADA systems. The built-in microSD card slot allows easy copying of programs and data.

HMI Panel – intuitive operation and visualization

The integrated HMI panel with a color QVGA TFT screen (256 colors) provides intuitive operation and effective process visualization. The ability to display text in Polish and graphic files (gif, jpg, bmp) makes it easier to create readable operator interfaces. The panel has an IP65 protection rating on the front, which ensures resistance to industrial conditions. The ability to create up to 1024 screens (maximum 250 images per application) and assign up to 150 different pieces of information/images to each screen variable provides a great deal of freedom in designing the HMI interface.
