The Uponor ECOFLEX Aqua Twin double pre-insulated pipe is an advanced solution for building efficient and durable domestic hot water and central heating installations. The design with two pipes in one jacket minimizes heat loss and simplifies installation, making it an ideal choice for both professionals and demanding customers. The pipe is characterized by high flexibility, which facilitates its routing in difficult conditions, as well as resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage.

Construction and properties

The ECOFLEX Aqua Twin 25x3.5-25x3.5/175 pipe consists of several key elements ensuring its reliability and efficiency: two inner pipes made of cross-linked polyethylene (PE-Xa), which guarantee hygiene and resistance to high temperatures and pressure. Between the pipes there is insulation made of closed-cell PE-X foam, minimizing heat loss – the thermal conductivity coefficient is only 0.04 W/(m.K). The whole is surrounded by a corrugated outer jacket made of polyethylene (HDPE), which provides mechanical protection and facilitates identification of the installation. The maximum working pressure of the pipe is 10 bar, and the medium temperature can reach 70°C in continuous operation and 80°C for a short time. The minimum bending radius is 650 mm, which ensures easy installation even in tight spaces.
