The design with two pipes in one jacket minimizes heat loss and ensures efficient medium transport. This system is characterized by its flexibility, which facilitates installation and allows bypassing obstacles, as well as high durability and reliability.

Construction and properties

The pipe consists of several key elements that ensure its optimal parameters: a conductive pipe made of PE-Xa (cross-linked polyethylene), PE-X foam acting as insulation with a low thermal conductivity coefficient (0.04 W/(m.K)), and a corrugated protective layer made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene). This construction guarantees not only excellent thermal properties but also resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion. This makes the pipe ideal for use in difficult ground conditions.

Application and benefits

The Ecoflex Aqua Twin 32x4.4-25x3.5/175 pipe is primarily intended for transporting domestic hot water in underground networks, where the design temperature of the supply water is 70°C (short-term up to 80°C). Its double construction allows for the simultaneous routing of a hot water supply pipe and a circulation pipe, which increases system efficiency and reduces waiting time for hot water at the tap. In addition, the flexibility of the pipe facilitates installation in tight spaces and allows bypassing obstacles without the need for additional fittings. The maximum working pressure of the pipe is 10 bar, ensuring safe use. The minimum bending radius is 700 mm - it is worth considering this when designing the installation. The pipe is supplied with sleeves, which simplifies the connection process.
