Construction and properties

MLC (MultiLayer Composite) pipe is a combination of the advantages of metal and plastic pipes. It consists of five layers: two layers of PE-RT II (polyethylene with increased temperature resistance), a middle layer of aluminum, and two additional adhesive layers ensuring a durable connection between the materials. The middle aluminum layer acts as an anti-diffusion barrier, preventing oxygen from penetrating the installation, which protects it from corrosion. The PE-RT II layers provide flexibility and resistance to high temperatures (up to 95°C for a short time).

• High strength: thanks to the aluminum middle layer, the pipe is resistant to high working pressure – up to 10 bar at 20°C.
• Flexibility: allows easy installation and adaptation to the shape of the building, minimizing the need for additional fittings. The bending radius is at least 300 mm.
