Comfort and reliability in heating systems – Comfort Pipe 9.9x1.1 mm
Comfort Pipe 9.9x1.1 mm is a key element of the Uponor Minitec heating systems, designed for efficient heat distribution in underfloor and wall installations. Available in a length of 240 meters, it provides convenient installation and minimizes the number of connections. Made of high-quality materials, it guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation.
This pipe is characterized by a multi-layer construction that combines the advantages of different materials. The middle layer of EVOH effectively limits oxygen diffusion into the installation, protecting metal components from corrosion. The outer layer of PE-Xa provides flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage, and the inner layer also of PE-Xa guarantees hygiene and durability.
Construction and properties for professionals
Comfort Pipe has been designed for easy and quick installation. Its flexibility (flexible model: true) allows it to be adapted to complex installation layouts, and the small outer diameter (9.9 mm) makes it easy to run in tight spaces. Min. bending radius of 49.5 mm allows the pipes to be formed without risk of damage. The coefficient of thermal expansion at 0.14 mm/(m.K) should be taken into account when designing the installation to ensure its proper functioning with temperature changes. The maximum working pressure at 20°C is 6 bar, which ensures safe use.
Application and benefits for the end user
Comfort Pipe is ideal for use in underfloor and wall heating systems, as well as in domestic water installations. Thanks to its construction, it ensures quiet operation of the heating system and even heat distribution in the rooms. The white color of the pipe discreetly blends into the surroundings, without being conspicuous during installation or any repairs. The anti-diffusion zone (true) is an additional advantage – it protects the installation from the negative effects of oxygen, extending its lifespan and reducing operating costs. Maximum medium temperature (short-term) up to 100°C allows the pipe to be used in various heating applications.
