Multilayer pipe for water supply and heating installations

Uponor Uni Pipe Plus pipe is an advanced solution designed for the construction of water supply, heating and underfloor heating installations. It is characterized by exceptional flexibility and durability, which translates into ease of installation and long-term reliability. The pipe construction is based on five layers, including a seamless aluminum layer, which provides resistance to oxygen diffusion and high pressure. This keeps the water clean and the installation protected from corrosion.

Construction and properties

The Uni Pipe Plus pipe combines the advantages of metal and plastic pipes. The middle layer of aluminum provides dimensional stability and pressure resistance, while the inner and outer layer of polyethylene (PE-RT II) guarantee flexibility and resistance to high temperature (up to 95°C for a short time). A special bonding layer between the individual layers ensures a durable connection, and the lack of seams eliminates the risk of leaks. In addition, the pipe has an anti-diffusion zone, which is particularly important in underfloor heating installations. Low linear expansion minimizes the risk of deformation caused by temperature changes.
