Intended Use and Application

The TD-800/200 SILENT duct fan operates effectively in general ventilation systems where low noise levels and a compact design are essential. It is intended for rooms with low dust levels – such as offices, libraries, conference rooms, schools, restaurants, or sound studios. Thanks to its high static pressure and performance, it performs well even in ducts with small diameters, where other axial fans struggle with flow resistance. It works perfectly with duct filters and duct heaters, and its low height allows installation in suspended ceilings without losing space.

Construction and Installation

The housing is made of polypropylene – a lightweight, corrosion-resistant material that requires no additional anti-corrosion protection. The ABS plastic impeller ensures durability while maintaining optimal aerodynamics. The "Silent-S&P" technology combines three key solutions: anti-vibration motor mounting, specially optimized internal housing geometry, and built-in acoustic silencers – these are what ensure minimal noise and vibration. Installation requires no tools – the connections are equipped with flexible couplers with "Quick-fix" quick connectors, enabling fast and airtight connection to the duct. The possibility of mounting in both horizontal and vertical positions provides flexibility in system design.

Motor and Operation

The fan is equipped with a single-phase, two-speed motor, 230 V, 50 Hz, with an IP44 protection rating and Class B insulation. The motor features ball bearings – ensuring longer service life and lower energy consumption. Two speeds (high and low) allow performance adjustment to current ventilation needs – e.g., low speed for night operation or airing, high speed for intensive use. Thermal protection with an automatic fuse protects the winding against overload – without the need for manual resetting. The compact terminal box allows connection of the power cable from any side (360°), facilitating integration with the existing electrical installation.
