Convector with fan – efficient space heating

The VKN5 convector is a solution designed for rooms with high volume and large glazed areas. Its construction, utilizing a modern, low-power fan, provides thermal comfort without disturbing the peace. A precise control panel allows for easy and accurate setting of the optimal temperature, and the use of an economical fan translates into greater heating power and faster response to changes. Low thermal inertia and electronic regulation allow for savings during the heating season, estimated at over 20%.

The VKN5 convector works perfectly in low-temperature systems, guaranteeing even heat distribution throughout the room. It is an ideal solution for both residential buildings, commercial facilities and historic buildings. Installation in the floor, combined with an elegant grille, makes the convector almost invisible, integrating with the interior design.

Construction and key features

The convector construction is based on a solid steel tub (housing) galvanized and powder-coated in black (RAL 9005). The heat exchanger made of copper and aluminum, also powder-coated in black, is equipped with an air vent valve. A modern EC 24V DC fan ensures quiet and efficient operation. Additionally, the convector has a cover for the connection chamber and an air diffuser directing the flow of warm air. Connection branches with a diameter of ¾” female thread facilitate installation. The set includes mounting spacers and anchors, as well as a system for adjusting the height of the tub – which facilitates installation and adaptation to specific conditions.

It is worth noting the possibility of ordering a convector with non-standard dimensions (NS), which allows for a perfect fit to individual project needs. Available are different channel heights (75, 90, 140, 180 mm), widths (250, 300, 350 mm) and lengths (800÷2750 mm).

Technical parameters and safety

The VKN5 convector is characterized by high technical parameters ensuring reliable operation: the maximum working pressure is 10 bar, and the working temperature must not exceed 110°C. The test pressure is 1.3 MPa and the hydraulic pressure is 1.69 MPa. The materials used ensure corrosion resistance and long-term operation. The convector meets the PN-EN 16430 standard confirming its compliance with European safety and quality standards. The water content in the convector is 0.67 liters. The heating power at parameters 75/65/20°C is: 599 W / 1670 W / 2621 W for Min / Med / Max modes, respectively.
