45° Elbow with SC 18 bronze – single-circuit connection without thread

One-piece bronze elbow designed for Sanpress systems with copper pipes of 18 mm outer diameter. Both sides have an identical diameter of 18 mm and accommodate pipes compliant with the system standard. One side features a crimping socket, the other a push-in end. Installation requires only pressing using a tool with a V-contour, without additional gaskets, adhesives, or surface treatment.

The seal made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene rubber) ensures tightness at pressures up to 16 bar at 20 °C and temperatures up to 110 °C. The material is resistant to drinking water and heating media – it does not react chemically with copper nor degrade under installation conditions.

Connection surfaces are in a raw state – without coatings, paints, or treatments. This eliminates the risk of damaging a protective layer during pressing, ensuring direct and stable contact with the pipe. There is no thread, no reduction, and no air vent. This is a simple component that changes the flow direction by 45 degrees – intended for water supply and heating installations.

Socket length: 33 mm. Push-in end length: 37 mm. Both ends are identical in terms of diameter and connection type – there is no distinction between "inlet" and "outlet". Installation is quick: simply cut the pipe, clean it, and press. No surface preparation is required beyond the standard Sanpress installation process.

Compatible with the VIEGA Sanpress system – operates exclusively with 18 mm diameter pipes and the appropriate pressing type.
