45° Elbow Made of Stainless Steel 316 (1.4401) – Press-Fit, with EPDM Seals

Designed for installation in water supply and heating systems requiring reliability, corrosion resistance, and leak-tightness under high pressure. Manufactured from a single cut piece of stainless steel 316 – a material offering high resistance to chlorides, acids, and water contaminants – it performs excellently in both domestic and industrial systems, including potable water, compressed air, and fire protection installations.

Both ends feature press-fit couplings, compatible exclusively with 22 mm outer diameter steel pipes. Installation is performed using a pressing tool – no welding, gluing, or threading required. The EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) seals ensure leak-tightness at temperatures up to 110°C and pressures up to 16 bar at 20°C, making them ideal for heating and domestic hot water systems.

Each connection includes a visual SC-Contur indicator – after pressing, a characteristic bulge appears on the surface. If the connection has not been properly pressed, this feature remains flat, allowing the installer to immediately identify errors without pressure testing.

Each branch has a length of 34 mm, and the elbow angle is precisely 45° – ideal for changing flow direction without sharp turns, thereby reducing hydrodynamic resistance. All parameters are matched to the Sanpress Inox system – this component does not function independently but only as part of a complete system with pipes and fittings from the same series.

There is no drain valve or air vent – this is a pure piping component. It requires no additional equipment or maintenance and operates maintenance-free throughout the entire service life of the installation.

Important: This elbow is not suitable for installation on copper or PP pipes – it works exclusively with 22 mm outer diameter steel pipes.
