45° Elbow with Sanpress Fittings – Solution for Systems with 35 mm Pipes
The elbow, made of stainless steel 316 (1.4401), is designed for installation in water supply and heating systems where corrosion resistance and high pressure are required. Both ends have an identical outer diameter of 35 mm – one is a push-in end, the other a crimping sleeve – enabling connection to Sanpress system pipes without the need for additional components.
All connections are sealed using an EPDM rubber ring – a material resistant to temperatures, chemicals, and long-term stress. The seal does not require additional lubrication or surface preparation prior to installation, and its durability ensures leak-tightness throughout the entire service life of the installation.
Installation of the elbow requires no welding or threading. Mounting is performed using a standard crimping tool – simply insert the pipe into the push-in end and crimp the sleeve. The process takes only a few seconds, generates no sparks or dust, and provides an immediate, leak-tight connection.
A working pressure of up to 16 bar at 20°C makes this component suitable even for high-pressure systems – e.g., in multi-story buildings or industrial installations. Steel 316 provides additional resistance to chlorides and aggressive environments, making it ideal for potable water, district heating systems, or recirculation installations.
It does not include drain valves or air vents – it is a pure flow-direction-changing component. The length of each connection (42 mm and 41 mm) has been designed to minimize hydraulic losses and avoid stresses in the system when bending the pipe.
Installation requires a qualified person with the appropriate tool – like any Sanpress-type installation, this component cannot be installed without the proper equipment and training. There is no need to use additional seals or pastes – everything is built-in.
