90° elbow with SC 22 stainless steel - stainless / polished, model 23161 Sanpress 435721

90° Elbow from Solid Stainless Steel 316 – Weld-Free Installation

The elbow is manufactured from a single cut piece of material 316 (1.4401), without welds or additional components. One side features a push-in end, while the other has a press-fit socket, enabling fast and leak-tight installation without the need for a welding machine. Both sides are designed for pipes with an outer diameter of 22 mm – no need to match different diameters; everything operates within a single system.

The EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) gasket is pre-installed and requires no additional assembly. There is no need to check for displacement – it is securely fixed in place and resistant to temperatures ranging from -25°C to 110°C. This means it can be used in both hot water installations and cooling or heating systems with low-temperature media.

Working pressure up to 16 bar at 20°C – this is not a theoretical catalog value but one certified by VdS and KIWA. This confirms the elbow's suitability for high-pressure systems, such as those in multi-family buildings or commercial facilities where reliability is essential.

There is no drain valve or air vent – this is not a component for air or water discharge. It is a pure pipeline elbow designed solely for changing flow direction. The working length on the socket side is 26.4 mm – this is the space required for pressing, which must be accounted for during route planning.

Stainless steel 316 offers more than just aesthetics – it provides superior corrosion resistance compared to 304, especially when exposed to salts or aggressive environments. In sanitary installations where water may contain higher levels of chlorine or other chemical substances, this difference is significant.

Installation is performed using the standard pressing tool for the Sanpress system. No new techniques need to be learned – if you already have an SC-Contur kit, this elbow fits perfectly. There is no need to wait for cooling after welding or to perform gas leak testing – after pressing, the connection is ready.

All components function within a "system pipe" framework – meaning you do not need to worry about compatibility with other elements from the same series. The elbow belongs to the same family as valves, elbows, and branch fittings – everything matches both mechanically and technically.
