90° Elbow with Press Fitting and Internal Thread Rp
The fitting is made of stainless steel 316 (1.4401), designed for installation in Sanpress systems. Both ends have the same nominal diameter – 1/2 inch (15 mm) – enabling a smooth connection between a pipe and a threaded line without the need for additional adapters.
One side features a press fitting, prepared for crimping onto a stainless steel pipe with an outer diameter of 15 mm. The other side has an internal metric thread Rp 1/2", allowing direct connection to valves, radiators, or other components with external threads. No additional gaskets are required – the pre-installed EPDM gasket ensures tightness already during the first crimp.
The bend angle is exactly 90°, making it ideal for changing flow direction in both vertical and horizontal installations. The press fitting length is 46 mm, and the threaded section is 26 mm, providing a stable base for the crimping tool and adequate thread engagement depth.
Maximum working pressure is 16 bar at 20°C – sufficient for heating systems, water supply networks, and even pressurized industrial installations. The permissible operating temperature reaches 110°C, making it suitable for heating circuits and domestic hot water systems.
SC-Contur on the surface of the press fitting – not merely decorative. This structural feature allows quick detection of improperly crimped joints during pressure testing: an unusually visible “ring” on the pipe is an immediate signal that something went wrong.
There is no drain valve or air vent – this is a purely flow-through component. No welding, soldering, or screwing is required. Installation takes only a few seconds: cut the pipe, remove sharp edges, insert the elbow, and apply one press with the tool.
Safe for use in installations for:
- drinking water (compliant with DIN-DVGW),
- heating,
- rainwater,
- compressed air,
- even in marine environments or aggressive industrial conditions – thanks to the 316 alloy.
No need to wait for cooling after installation. Once crimped, it is immediately load-bearing. No soldering residues, no grinding dust. This is the solution for those who want fast, clean, and durable installations.
