Double fitting with SC 35 x 5/4" stainless steel - stainless / polished, model 2355 Sanpress 437350
Double connector with 90° passage, pressed and threaded — stainless steel
The connector is made of stainless steel with an EPDM seal — a material that ensures durable and safe insulation in water supply systems, even with temperature and pressure fluctuations. Both sides of the connection are identical in terms of material: there is no brass or other metals in contact with water — only stainless steel, which eliminates the risk of corrosion and contamination.
One side features a SC-Contur pressed fitting — compatible with 35 mm (DN 32) steel pipes, installed using standard Sanpress tools. The other side is a metric internal thread Rp 1¼", allowing easy connection to valves, radiators, or other components with external threads. The 90° angle enables smooth flow direction changes without the need for two separate components.
The flat EPDM seal is integrated into the design — it requires no additional assembly or nut loosening. Although the nut is made of nickel-plated brass, it does not come into contact with water; it serves only as a mechanical element for compressing the seal. This is crucial for potable water systems: everything that touches the water meets hygiene requirements.
Working pressure up to 16 bar at 20°C — sufficient for most residential and commercial installations. There are no restrictions regarding water temperature — the system operates stably with both hot and cold water. The length of the pressed segment (59.5 mm) and the thread length (57 mm) are precisely matched to VIEGA standards — installation is precise, without "free" play or risk of leaks.
No need to worry about "over-tightening" the thread or "tightening too much" — the one-piece construction and pressing ensure durability without additional tools. The installer saves time; the end user has no leak problems after years of use.
Applications:
- Connections between Sanpress pipes and radiators
- Connection of taps, valves, or filters to the pressed system
- Hot and cold potable water installations
- Heating systems with steel pipes
All this — without additional seals, without the risk of improper installation, and without metal in contact with water.
