Press-fit transition fitting with thread, made of stainless steel

The Sanpress Inox Type 2365 fitting is a one-piece component designed for connecting Sanpress Inox system pipes to devices or fittings with external metric threads. The use of stainless steel on both ends ensures corrosion resistance, making it ideal for potable water installations where water quality and longevity are critical.

The EPDM seal – a material with high thermal and chemical stability – ensures hermetic sealing without the need for additional pastes or tapes. The flat sealing design (flachdichtend) minimizes the risk of leaks while facilitating assembly and post-crimp inspection.

Installation and safety

The fitting is designed for use with the SC-Contur press system – a technology enabling fast, safe, and reliable installation without welding, threading, or soldering. In case of an improper crimp, the damaged pipe surface is visible during visual inspection, eliminating the risk of concealed leaks after installation.

The nut is made of nickel-plated brass – it does not come into contact with the medium but ensures stable thread retention during assembly. Important: all components in contact with water are made exclusively of stainless steel, meeting hygiene requirements for potable water installations.

Application and operating conditions

Intended for potable water, hot water, and cooling water distribution systems – both in residential and commercial buildings. It operates safely at a maximum pressure of 16 bar at 20°C and temperatures ranging from -25°C to 110°C. The external pipe diameter of 42 mm corresponds to the nominal diameter DN40 (1½ inches), making it an ideal bridge between large system pipes and standard fittings.

No special tools are required beyond the Sanpress pressing tool set – installation is identical to other components in this family. The absence of a bend angle (0°) ensures a straight flow line, minimizing hydrodynamic resistance and facilitating installation in tight spaces.
