The Profipress fitting, made of copper, is a component of the renowned Viega press-fit connection system. Designed for joining copper pipes with an outer diameter of 12 mm, it ensures leak-proof and durable connections in water supply, heating, and gas systems. Its press-fit technology guarantees fast and secure installation, minimizing the risk of errors and leaks.

Robust design and premium materials

The Profipress fitting features a one-piece solid construction made of copper (99.9% Cu-DHP). The EPDM seal (ethylene-propylene-diene rubber) ensures reliable sealing across a wide range of temperatures and pressures. The use of high-quality materials guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Additionally, the presence of a retention collar enhances connection stability and prevents accidental pipe withdrawal.

Versatile application and compliance with standards

The Profipress fitting is compatible with the Profipress copper pipe system, enabling the construction of high-performance integrated installations. It can be used in domestic water systems in accordance with DIN 1988-200 and PN-EN 806-2, and in heating systems in accordance with PN-EN 12828. The maximum operating pressure is 16 bar at 20°C. The fitting holds DVGW approval under regulation DW-8511BQ0586 and has been tested according to DVGW W 534 standard with the DVGW quality mark, confirming its safety and reliability.
